Intervention Efforts in WASH for Saline affected & Waterlogged Coastal Communities of Tala, Satkhira. (IEWASH).

Upazila of Satkhira district. Combined effect of siltation of Kabodak River, water logging and increased salinity deteriorates the overall environmental health and WASH situation of the concerned area. We Installed 10 nos deep tube-well, 2 nos pond Installed Deep tube-Well Sand filter (PSF), 19 nos HH RWHP (3200L) & 5 nos community base RWHP(10,000L), Distribution 500 pic two pit offset latrines in Magura Union.

Legal Status:

For the legalization of programming activities Mukti Foundation got registration from the following Govt. departments; (i) Registered with NGO Affairs Bureau vide FDR No. 1391 dated 08.06.1999; (ii) Registered with Joint Stock Company under Society Act Khulna-124 dated 11.04.2005; (iii) Registered with Micro Credit Regulatory vide Registration No. 0000381 dated 23.02.2009 & (iv) Registered with Department of Social Services vide Registration No. Satkhira-1092 dated 10.11.2010
