Values and principles
Mukti Foundation has agreed on a set of values and principles which will determine its behavior while pursing the mission. The values and principles are as follows:

Mutual respect, trust and confidence
All staff members agree to respect each other irrespective of level and position. A positive attitude will reign over personal interactions.

Cooperative
The staff members agree to help each other in their day-to-day work. The idea is to achieve performance of the NGO as a whole.

Accountability
Mukti Foundation agrees to practice accountability internally to its Executive Committee and Board and keep them informed about major policy issues and implement the policies approved by them. Externally, it will also remain accountable to the Government and donors (foreign and local).

Transparency
Mukti Foundation and its staff members agree to practice transparency to the superiors, to the Board and to the Government in view of its activities and finances.

Gender-sensitive
As a development organization, Mukti Foundation will internalize gender sensitivity in its programme and administrative practices.

People oriented including ethnic sensitivity
Mukti Foundation will remain committed to the changing needs of the target population and will particularly build in project interventions for the disadvantaged ethnic communities

Policy-driven
For recurring operations within the organization Mukti Foundation will follow policies, systems and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness. In this regard, it will be guided by HR policy, Gender policy, Admin Policy, Procurement Policy, Use and Maintenance Policy for assets.
